The Miss University Scholarship Competition is sponsored annually by the Gertrude C. Ford Ole Miss Student Union and the Student Activities Association. The competition is an official preliminary for the Miss Mississippi and Miss America competitions. Previously, five Miss University titleholders have won Miss Mississippi, and two have won Miss America. 

Each contestant competes in the areas of Interview, Performance Talent/HERStory™, On-Stage Question Health & Fitness, and Evening Gown. The winner of the Miss University competition is awarded a $5,000 scholarship and represents the University throughout the year at speaking and entertainment engagements and will compete for the title of Miss Mississippi in Vicksburg, Mississippi during the summer.

Scholarship Opportunities:

Miss University 2024 – $5,000 University Stipend
1st Alternate: – $1,000 University Stipend
2nd Alternate – $500 University Stipend
3rd Alternate – $250 University Stipend
